Mennonite World Conference’s (MWC’s) Creation Care Task Force is still seeking responses to its survey of MWC members around the world. If you have not yet completed the survey, you are welcome to do so here before January 4, 2021.

What we need most are more responses from continents beyond North America–particularly Asia. If you have contacts living outside of North America who are part of MWC, please invite them to participate. Below is a personal letter from Doug Graber Neufeld which you could copy and paste in an email. It explains the purpose of the survey in more detail.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Greetings from the Creation Care Task Force.  I am contacting you to ask a favor.  Hopefully you received a message about our survey at some earlier time.  This survey is important for us in deciding where to focus our efforts – we want to know what is important to your congregation!  We know that we experience God’s creation in many different ways, and likewise that we are impacted in different ways by changes that are occurring to our earth.  If you have not already, we kindly request that you take some time to fill out this survey, and encourage others in your region to also fill it out.  It is very important to us that the results equally represent the church across the world, and we notice that we have fewer results from areas outside of North America and Europe.

You have our sincere appreciation for helping in our efforts to work with all of the churches in Mennonite World Conference, as we discern together what it means to take care of God’s beautiful and sustaining creation.

Blessings in Christ,
