What do caring for the environment and opposing violence have in common? How does the growth of militarism in our nation and across the globe despoil God’s creation?
How might we learn to see creation care and opposition to militarism as partners in caring for ALL of God’s world?
This spring, Mennonite Creation Care Network and Mennonites Against Militarism invite you to discern these questions and discuss how the answers shape how we live out our faith. Through a series of online conversations, we will explore these issues together, tapping into the wisdom already present in Mennonite communities. This is part of a broader initiative entitled, Mennonites Against Militarism. The first dialog was led by Luke Beck Kreider, an ethicist at the University of Virginia.
