Merry Lea is an 1,189-acre nature preserve owned and operated by Goshen College, Goshen, Ind. It is known for quality environmental education for people of all ages and a rich and diverse land base. Emphases include a one-year master’s degree in environmental education, undergraduate semesters in agroecology and sustainability and K-12 school programs for thousands of local children.
Merry Lea’s Institute for Ecological Regeneration, launched in 2011, adds a research piece to the organization’s work, centering around the themes of land, faith and environmental education.
