Imagine that…
…The worship experiences of your congregation recognize God’s love for all the earth, not just humans. God is worshipped as Creator, Sustainer and Redeemer of all creation. Caring for creation is addressed in sermons and appears in visual elements, in sharing times, in confessions, in song.
Attendees’ personal spiritual practices include some that also connect them with creation. Relationship to the earth is an area for reflection and confession just as human relationships are. People who encounter God most deeply through gardening, hiking or other outdoor pursuits are respected and invited to share their experiences.
