Hoosier Interfaith Power and Light Features Mennonite Solar Efforts

Trisha Tull, the director of Hoosier Interfaith Power and Light (HIPL) focused on Mennonites in the organization’s September newsletter. Her article mentions Kern Road Mennonite Church, South Bend, Ind., Benton Mennonite Church, Benton, Ind., Assembly Mennonite Church, Eighth Street Mennonite Church, and Waterford Mennonite Church, all of Goshen, Ind. Each congregation has installed solar panels and/or worked at energy conservation. The article relates these creation care efforts to Mennonites’ historic faith commitments.
